Will is an English cinematographer, operating across genres and working environments. Just as comfortable underwater as up a mountain, or shooting from the roof of a moving vehicle, Will strives to create powerful, emotive imagery in the most challenging of situations. He has directed and shot a number of independent films selected for and awarded at international film festivals between working for broadcast clients including BBC, Netflix, and Apple TV.
Will’s greatest professional achievement is filming orangutans with a cable dolly cinema rig at over 50m up in the rainforest canopy, and managing to bring the camera home safely!
In his spare time (of which there is very little) Will enjoys cinema modifying old lenses, shooting and developing 35mm film photographs (mostly of his patient wife), riding a beaten up old motorbike, and going camping anywhere you can see the stars.
Based in Borneo but working around the world, Will has shot for projects in over 30 different countries.
Will is currently available for remote shoots with immediate access to cinema cameras, lenses and motion control equipment.
